For all those beginners who just start practicing using make up, one of the constraints that you might have is not having complete make up brushes to apply your makeup, especially for putting on eye shadows. I've been there. When I was just starting to love make up, I did not have any make up brush. I live in Indonesia. The make up brushes used by beauty gurus in Youtube were not affordable for me at that time. I don't have money to buy the brushes. I also don't know where to buy those brushes. *sad*

Or even those who already have a complete range of make up brushes, but wanted to pack light while travelling. Sometimes not bringing your make up brushes can be the solution of packing light. Or sometimes, you just simply forget to bring your make up brushes.

Well, no need to worry now. If you don't have your make up brushes with you, your clean fingers is your 101 solution. You can still have a fabulous look without using make up brushes.
The product I am going to highlight in this post is the ELF clutch palette. The clutch palette is great for travelling. It has everything you need and it is very light weight. It has 32 different colors of eye shadows. The range colors of eye shadows is very wide, so it can be used for many occasions. The bronzer and the two shades of blushes contains in the palette is adding my love for this palette. It is a highly recommended go to palette to bring for travelling.

ELF Clutch Palette
32 Eye Shadow Colors
Bronzer + 2 Shade Blush On + 6 Lip Colors
+ Face Shimmer + Eye Brow Gel and Powder

This tips of using clean fingers as a make up brush is inspired by one of my favorite beauty guru in Youtube, Michelle Phan. I always love her tips and tutorials.

For doing this tips, remember to have a wet tissue to clean your hand for each step of application. Also don't forget not to mix up the fingers. Or else you will get a very messy look. Yaiksss..

Start with giving full coverage to your face using your favorite foundation, concealer, and setting powder.

Using your ring finger, dab on your base color all over your eye lid. The ring finger is very gentle. It can be great to use as your flat shadow brush. For the base color, I am using this beautiful soft gold color.

For the darkest shade of color, you might like to use your pingky finger. The pingky finger could give you the highest control compared to your other fingers. So it is great to be used as your angle shadow brush. I am using this deep chocolate color on my outer corners. What ever is left on the pingky fingers, put it in the lower lash line to balance out the look. Its okay to directly dip it to the eye brow brush and blend it in the eye brow.

The middle finger could be used as a fluffy brush. So blend out your eye shadow well.

For the highlighter, use the index finger. I am using this bright soft pink for the highlighter. Put the color in the brow bone in a soft stroke motion. Also put the highlighter color in the middle of the lid to give a great pop to the eye.

Glam it up with eyeliner and mascara. Even false lashes if you like..:)

Clean your fingers with clean wet tissue.

Stick together your ring finger with your pingky finger. Use it to put on your bronzer. Slide it in a soft striking motion.

Then stick together your index finger with your middle finger. Use it to put on the blushes. Put it in a slight dabbing motion. This will give a bright plump color to your cheeks.

Put on your favorite lipstick. I am using ELF lipstick in the color Charming. This color is great for an elegant everyday look.

This is it! A great everyday look.

The make up brush is not everything right?

Love,
